WIZ-ART is an International festival of short films and visual art.
It is a great opportunity to present and to watch the best works of modern cinema and visual art. 4-day Festival is one of the most important events of the whole cinematographic year in Lviv.
We accept short films and visual art works produced during 2 years before festival with the duration up to 30 minutes for competition and non-competition programs.
The previous festivals presented unique short films: fiction, documentaries, animation, videoart and experimental films of young directors and videoartists. The Festival tries to show the newest tendencies in the art of cinema. Selection committee gives preference to works with extraordinary director solutions in portraying reality, works that use modern technologies and show inventiveness in cinematographer's approach and original editing.
Here in the Art Palace (which is in the very centre of Lviv) one finds the best place to discover, to discuss, to learn, to have fun, to meet, to create, to change, to submit, and finally to win the main prize of the Festival!
